Ellis International Services specializes in providing rigorous, independent, unbiased market value appraisals (fair market valuations) of mineral properties and mineral rights, from exploration and development tracts to operating mines and quarries.

Our appraisal services are provided for market valuation of properties involving all mineral commodities, such as precious and base metals, industrial minerals, uranium, coal, oil shale, aggregate, and dimension stone. We provide our services throughout the USA and the world, subject to legal and regulatory restrictions. Our valuation reports are developed in accordance with the prevailing national or international standards, including relevant minerals industry standards.

Ellis International Services, founded in 1983, is led by Trevor R. Ellis, a minerals property appraiser, geologist, and minerals economist, with 45 years of diverse, mining industry experience. Trevor Ellis also provides expert support for litigation, through his independent market/fair value appraisals of takings and damages to mineral lands, mine and quarry properties. Trevor Ellis develops his valuations in accordance with USA’s national Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), the International Valuation Standards (IVSs), the SME (Mineral) Valuation Standards, and other standards, as applicable.

In addition to diversified work in the United States, much of Trevor Ellis’s experience has been on assignments in other countries, including many years of field experience working in remote areas of Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and Ecuador.
